Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo. The firm’s Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office was a sponsor for this event that included a 5K/10K competitive run and a 5K/10K Fun Walk. This event was held on Sept. 8, 2019 at the Detroit Zoo.
More than 4,000 runners and walkers laced up for Run Wild, which raises funds for the Animal Health Complex and veterinary care for the animals at the Detroit Zoo and Belle Isle Nature Center.
This year’s event raised $107,000 in net revenue, making it the most successful Run Wild in its 23-year history.
Over the years, the funds raised by this event have been used to purchased some very important medical equipment, including digital radiology and ultrasound machines, an anesthesia monitor, a portable blood analyzer and surgical lights.
This event helps the Zoo’s staff provide care for the animals, from routine medical examinations to dental and other surgical procedures, ultrasounds and more. The impact this has on the animals’ care is tremendous, and for that, we thank you everyone that helped make it happen.
