Carly Kolo is an attorney in Lipson Neilson’s Bloomfield Hills office. Ms. Kolo practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and probate and trust administration. During her tenure at Lipson Neilson’s Michigan law firm, Ms. Kolo has appeared in probate courts throughout the state and has worked with a variety of charitable organizations and closely held businesses on behalf of her clients.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations and Global Business, Ms. Kolo earned her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law. There, she interned with the Office of the Michigan Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division. Additionally, she clerked at the Federal Communication Commission, Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau in Washington D.C. While in law school at Michigan State University on a merit based scholarship, Ms. Kolo was a member of the Journal of Business and Securities Law.
An east coast native, Ms. Kolo is also licensed to practice in Maryland.
